All children and youth are welcome to join our programs. You do not have to be a member of First-St. Andrew's to be a part of the family.

We are the FSA Church mice and would love to have you join us
SUNDAY morningS AT fsa
Gathering

Worship begins at 10:30 am with all ages in the Sanctuary. When the younger members of the church leave the Sanctuary at the end of the Opening Hymn, they will all head down to the Fireside Room for Big Circle. This is a time for community and being introduced to the day’s theme in a way that is engaging for them. After a few minutes they break into smaller groups (based on their grade in school or comfort level) for discussion and activities.
Nursery

A responsible adult and a room full of toys awaits infants, toddlers and young children. Parents are always welcome to come in with their children and stay or they can leave for worship, depending on their child's comfort. FSA celebrates children and also welcomes them in worship without any pressure to stay silent or still.

Worship & Wonder

Youngsters in K-Grade 6 spend their time, while their parents are in church, exploring Christian values and Bible stories, using interactive play, games, music, videos and grafts. Children are immersed in the language, rituals and symbols of worship.

CONFIRMATION
Preparation for confirmation of membership in the church is offered to highschool students who want to ask questions and explore faith. FSA will be using a nine-month program called ‘Confirm Not Conform’ which is a youth confirmation program which emphasizes young people to a wide range of topics, including scripture, sacraments, creeds, heresy, prayer, other religions and serving others all while challenging them to consider what they believe and why. We want to encourage young people to find their own voice rather than simply going along with what others say or think.

Christmas Pageant
Christmas Eve is a time for the whole FSA family to celebrate together. Our intergenerational pageant is presented during worship. Rehearsal information becomes available each fall.

Family Fun events
All kinds of families are welcome to come to these events to connect and make memories together. Events happen throughout the year. Get information about upcoming events from the Children & Youth Billboard
